About

How it works

Kinoko Box makes ready-to-fruit gourmet kits for people who cook. The tone is elder calm — quiet craft, not cartoon science.

  1. Open on arrival.Living mycelium prefers air and attention. Start within a few days, or refrigerate briefly to pause.
  2. Prepare the fruiting face.Cut an X or open the window as the care card shows. Place in indirect light.
  3. Mist gently. One or two times a day. Humidity and fresh air matter more than gadgets.
  4. Harvest the first flush. Most kits pin in about one to three weeks. Cook soon — culinary use only.
  5. Rest and repeat. Many blocks offer a second or third flush with a short rest between.

Japanese-themed, kitchen-first

We take cues from MUJI and Kinto: warm whites, stone neutrals, indigo-charcoal ink, a single hinoki accent. Typography is smooth and generous. We do not use mascots, anime styling, or STEM-kids packaging.
